SMS Terms & Conditions
These SMS Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in TorqueTitan's text messaging program. By opting in to receive text messages from TorqueTitan, you agree to these Terms.
1. Program Description
TorqueTitan, LLC operates a two-way SMS messaging program on behalf of automotive repair shops using our platform. Messages sent through this program include:
- Appointment reminders, confirmations, and rescheduling notifications
- Vehicle service status updates (check-in, inspection complete, work approved, ready for pickup)
- Payment requests and invoice notifications
- Responses to messages you send to the shop through our platform
All messages are sent and managed by TorqueTitan on behalf of your repair shop. TorqueTitan is the entity responsible for this messaging program.
2. How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive text messages by providing your mobile phone number through a repair shop's check-in form, appointment booking page, or another consent mechanism that includes a clear disclosure about SMS messaging from TorqueTitan. Opting in requires your explicit, voluntary agreement — it is not assumed or required.
Providing your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving vehicle service.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your service activity. You may receive between 1 and 10 messages per service visit, depending on the stages of your repair order (check-in, inspection, work approval, service completion, and payment). You may also receive messages if you initiate a conversation with the shop.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. TorqueTitan does not charge you for messages sent through this program, but standard messaging and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Contact your carrier for details on your messaging plan.
5. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of the messaging program at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any text message. After opting out:
- You will receive one final confirmation message
- No further messages will be sent to your number
- Your opt-out will be recorded and honored promptly
To opt back in after opting out, re-submit your consent through a participating repair shop's opt-in form.
6. Help
For assistance, reply HELP to any message or contact us at support@torquetitan.ai. We respond within one business day.
7. Supported Carriers
This program is supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, and Metro PCS. Carrier coverage is not guaranteed and message delivery may vary based on network conditions.
8. No Guarantee of Delivery
TorqueTitan is not responsible for undelivered, delayed, or misdirected messages. Message delivery depends on mobile network conditions and carrier policies that are outside our control.
9. Regulatory Compliance
This messaging program complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and applicable carrier guidelines. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages. All recipients have explicitly consented to receive messages.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TorqueTitan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in or reliance on this messaging program, including any loss resulting from undelivered or delayed messages.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted at https://torquetitan.ai/terms/sms. Continued participation in the messaging program after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
